You can group several objects if need be. And then handle them by resizing, moving, formatting them. You cannot group with placeholders and tables though.
You can do it in three ways, select the objects and :
- Activate the drawing toolbar, click on the Draw button, choose Group.
- Right click the selected object, choose Group, Group.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+G.

You can manipulate the objects of the group individually, just click on them and format as you wish. You cannot move an object within the group though or adapt it's individual size.

You can do it in many ways, select the objects and :
- On the Home tab, Drawing group, click Arrange button, choose Group.
- Under Picture tools, Format tab, Arrange group, click Group button, choose Group.
- Right click, choose Group, Group.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+G.
