Everybody knows and uses the
Format painter button on the Home tab. With this button you can copy the format of a shape once (click once) or several times (double click) to another shape.
Nevertheless, this button has one disadvantage. If you want to do something in between the paste action like typing or correcting text or creating a new shape the button gets deactivated.
PowerPoint has two functions that allow you to copy paste the formatting without losing the ability to do other things in between.

You can add these buttons to the QAT or add them to a new custom group you create on the ribbon.
Just do the following, go to
File -
Options - choose
QAT - select
all commands and copy the two buttons to your QAT.
