Alhoewel de functie enigszins verborgen is kan je gemakkelijk een tabel voorzien van een achtergrond met een afbeelding.

Voeg een tabel in via het tabblad Invoegen, PPT zal automatisch de ingebouwde stijl van het thema toepassen, in dit geval het thema Kantoor.

Pas nu het thema Geen stijl, tabelraster toe:

Of kies Tabel wissen onderaan het stijlenvenster:

Selecteer de tabel, ga naar contextueel tabblad Ontwerpen, kies knop Arcering, Tabelachtergrond, Afbeelding, selecteer je afbeelding en je bent klaar.

Although the feature is somewhat hidden it is possible to give a table a picture background.
Insert a table in your slide, PPT will apply the style from the active theme, in this case the Office theme.

Now apply the No style, grid style:

Last select your table and go to Table tools, Design tab.
Click on the shading button, choose table background, and finally Picture, select the picture and click Insert.
