If you ever pasted an Excel chart in PowerPoint you will have noticed that you need to resize it to make it fit on the slide. That is especially the case when you put the chart on a separate sheet.
You can resize it manually of course but you do not have to.
To avoid resizing you can use a placeholder. You can choose a slide layout like Title and content. Just select the placeholder by clicking on the edge.
Then copy paste the Excel chart to your PowerPoint slide. The chart will automatically resize to fit the placeholder.
