Wat betekend 'seconden besteed aan elke dia' bij het opnemen van een video in PPT 2019

Je kan in PPT een video maken van je presentatie. Daarvoor kies je in Bestand voor Exporteren en vervolgens Een video maken. Daarbij kan je kiezen voor de optie Seconden besteed aan elke dia. 

Die instelling is alleen van toepassing op dia's waarvoor geen timing is ingesteld in de presentatie. Als je de optie "Opgenomen timings en gesproken tekst gebruiken" kiest, bepalen de bestaande timings wat er naar video wordt geëxporteerd. Timings opnemen doe je via het tabblad Opnemen en de knop Opnemen. Of via tabblad Diavoorstelling - knop Tijdsinstellingen voor try-out/ of knop Opnemen.

Als er geen opgenomen timings zijn of er zijn tenminste enkele dia's zonder timings opgenomen, dan moet er een standaard timing zijn zodat de presentatie niet vastloopt op de eerste dia die geen timing heeft. De optie seconden besteed aan elke dia staat standaard op 5 seconden.

Kortom, met de twee opties (Geen opgenomen timing en gesproken tekst en seconden besteed aan elke dia) kun je kiezen tussen het instellen van specifieke timings of het gebruik van dezelfde looptijd voor elke dia.

What does 'seconds to spend on each slide' means when creating a video of a presentation in PPT 2019

You can create a video from your presentation in PPT. Click File - Export - Create a video. There is an option there called Seconds spent on each slide.

That setting only applies to slides where there is no timing set. If you choose the option Use recorded timings and narration the existing timings determine what is exported to video. You can record timings by going to the Record tab and clicking on the Record slide show button. Or you can use the Slide show tab and click on the Rehearse timings/or the Record slide show button.

If there are no recorded timings or there are some slides which have no timing then the setting takes effect preventing the presentation from stalling on the first slide that has no timing. By default the option Seconds spent on each slide has a setting of 5 seconds. 

Of course if you want to overrule your set timings and use the seconds spent on each slide instead, choose the option Do not use recorded timings and narrations and set an appropriate transition time.

Een video afspelen over meerdere dia's in PPT 2019

Als je een videoclip over verschillende dia's heen wil afspelen zonder onderbreking dan ga je wat werk hebben.

Voeg de video in op de dia waar die moet starten. Ga daarvoor naar het tabblad Invoegen en kies de knop Video in de groep Media. Kies voor Video op mijn PC. Selecteer de video en voeg hem in.

Selecteer het pictogram op je dia, klik op het tabblad Afspelen, in de groep Video-opties klik je op het lijstpijltje naast Start en je kiest voor Automatisch.

Activeer nu het tabblad Animaties en klik op de knop Animatie deelvenster in de groep Geavanceerde animatie. Het taakvenster ziet er zo uit.

Dubbelklik op het bovenste item (afspelen). In het dialoogvenster Video afspelen, kies je onder afspelen stoppen voor de optie Na en je geeft het aantal dia's dat de video moet afspelen of je geeft het maximum in nl. 999 zodat de video niet stopt, klik op OK.

Let op, de video zal altijd op de voorgrond afspelen bovenop andere objecten in de presentatie.

Play a video across multiple slides in PPT 2019

Go to the slide where you want the video to begin playing. Insert the video clip by going to Insert, Video, Video on my PC.

Select the video clip, under Video Tools click the Playback tab. In the Video Options group click the drop-down list next to Start and select Automatically.

Now click on the Animations tab, and choose the Animation pane button. In the animation pane double click the play entry.

In the dialog Play video, under stop playing activate the radio button After and enter the number of slides the video should play or put the maximum 999 so that the video will not stop. Finally click OK.

Be aware that the video will always play on top of the slide.

Play a video automatically and advance to the next slide without clicking in PPT 2013

Let's assume you want to play a video automatically, then advance to the next slide without clicking.

Add your video and make it play automatically. You can do this by clicking the Playback tab under Video tools. In the Video options group choose Automatically next to the Start option.

To advance to the next slide without clicking (bearing in mind that the video is the only animation on the slide) you have to choose the Transitions tab and set a timing in the Timings group, check the After box and add a transition time.

You might think that the transition time should be at least equal to the duration of the video, but this is not the case. The auto transition function has no priority over the video playback. In other words, PPT waits until the video is over before navigating to the next slide.

So set a timing of a few seconds to obtain the automatic transition.

Een video automatisch afspelen en zonder klikken naar de volgende dia gaan in PPT 2013

Stel je wil een video automatisch afspelen en na het einde van de video ook zonder te klikken naar de volgende dia overgaan.

Voeg je video toe aan je presentatie en zorg ervoor dat deze automatisch afspeelt. Dat kan je doen door onder Hulpmiddelen voor video te kiezen voor het tabblad Afspelen. In de groep Video opties kies je naast Starten het lijstpijltje en je selecteert automatisch.

Om automatisch naar de volgende dia te gaan (onder voorwaarde dat de video de enige animatie is op de dia) moet je op het tabblad Overgangen in de groep Tijdsinstellingen bij de rubriek Na een geschikte overgangstijd opgeven zodat de video niet onnodig wordt onderbroken.

Je zou denken dat de overgangstijd minimaal moet gelijk zijn aan de duurtijd van de video, maar dit is niet het geval. De functie autotransitie heeft geen voorrang op het afspelen van de video. Met andere woorden PPT wacht tot de video voorbij is vooraleer naar de volgende dia te navigeren. Dus je kan net zo goed een overgangstijd instellen van enkele seconden om hetzelfde effect te bekomen.

Online YouTube video automatisch afspelen in PPT 2013

Wanneer je een video van YouTube invoegt dan kan je die niet automatisch laten afspelen ook al heb je onder Hulpmiddelen voor video op het tabblad Afspelen naast starten gekozen voor Automatisch. Om dat toch te realiseren zal je moeten werken met de insluitcode en daar een kleine wijziging aan toevoegen. Dit werkt voor zowel PPT 2013 als PPT 2016.

Zoek je YouTube video op en klik op de knop Delen.

Klik op de optie Insluiten.

Selecteer de volledige code en klik op de knop Kopiëren.

Ga nu naar tabblad Invoegen en klik op de knop Video, kies voor Onlinevideo.

Kies voor de optie 'Via de insluitcode van een video' door in het vak te klikken en de gekopieerde code erin te plakken (Ctrl+V).

Klik in het vak van de insluitcode en navigeer met de cursorpijltjes tot op het einde van de videolink die start met https://, maar blijf binnen de sluitende " staan, typ een ? en autoplay=1, druk enter of klik op het pijltje naast het veld. Hieronder een voorbeeld:

Start je presentatie, de video zou nu automatisch moeten starten.

Een video bijsnijden in PPT 2013

Net als ieder ander object kan je een video bijsnijden zodat je enkel het gedeelte bekijkt dat je wenst te gebruiken.

Hieronder een video met een waterval.

Ik wil mij zoveel mogelijk concentreren op de waterval en zo weinig mogelijk op wat er naast ligt.

Selecteer de video en klik in het tabblad Opmaak onder Hulpmiddelen voor video op de knop Bijsnijden.

In dit geval ga ik mij in de verticale as in het midden plaatsen en vervolgens met de Ctrl-toets slepen zodat er evenredig links en rechts wordt bijgesneden.

Crop a video in PPT 2013

You can crop a video just like any photo in PPT.

Here is an example of a waterfall.

I want to concentrate on the waterfall and not so much on the surrounding area.

Select the video and click on the Crop button of the Format tab in the Video Tools contextual tab.

In this case I am going to position in the middle of the vertical axe and drag the handle while using the ctrl-key. The video will be equally cropped on both sides.

Save an embedded video in PPT 2013

Starting with PPT 2010 videos are embedded in your presentation.

When you recieve a presentation with a video in it and you want to use it as a separate file, just right click the video and choose Save Media as in the quick menu. Just give it a name and you are done.

Te beginnen met PPT 2010 worden video's standaard ingevoegd in een presentatie.

Wanneer je een presentatie ontvangt met daarin een video is het moeilijk om deze als een afzonderlijk bestand te gebruiken.

Geen nood je kan door met je rechtermuisknop te klikken op de video kiezen voor Media Opslaan als zodat je het bestand in zijn oorspronkelijk formaat kunt bewaren en gebruiken.

Use bookmarks to trigger animations during audio clip - PPT 2013

It is possible to use animation during playing audio or video. To do so you need bookmarks.

Click in the player control bar on the desired spot.
Under Video Tools click the Play tab, click the Add bookmark button.

See this example of an audio file with 6 added bookmarks.

In the slide below you can see some pictures which will be animated by means of the inserted bookmarks..

Pictures will appear at the chosen time and disappear when the next bookmarked picture appears.

Select your picture and add an entrance animation. With the animation still selected, click the Trigger button and choose On bookmark, then select the appropriate bookmark in the list.

Repeat these actions for all the pictures. In the example below I choose an end effect when the next picture appears. To do that add the effect and drag it under the start effect of the following picture. Format it to start with previous.

Video automatisch pauzeren op specifiek punt en terug verder gaan met een klik - PPT 2013

Hoe kan je een video pauzeren op een specifieke plaats en vervolgens verder gaan waar je gebleven was zonder de video opnieuw van vooraf aan te starten?

Daarvoor heb je bladwijzers nodig waaraan je een trigger koppelt. In ons eerste voorbeeld zal de video worden afgespeeld als we erop klikken.

Plaats de video op je dia (Invoegen - Video - Video op mijn PC - Selecteer je video - klik op Invoegen).

Selecteer het tabblad Animatie en activeer het Animatie deelvenster. Een automatische trigger voor afspelen en pauzeren is reeds toegevoegd die je in staat stelt de video te stoppen en terug te starten door erop te klikken. Verwijder de optie om de video te laten afspelen door die te selecteren en Delete te drukken. Het animatievenster ziet er nu zo uit:

Voeg de bladwijzers en triggers toe die je zullen toelaten de video te stoppen op de gewenste plaats.

Klik in de afspeelbalk van de video op de gewenste plaats. Klik onder Hulpmiddelen voor Video op het tabblad Afspelen, klik op de knop Bladwijzer toevoegen. Doe hetzelfde voor alle andere bladwijzers.

Klik in het tabblad Animaties in de groep Geavanceerde animatie op de knop Animatie toevoegen, kies Onderbreken. Klik in het deelvenster op de animatie zodat die geselecteerd is, klik op de knop Trigger, kies Bij bladwijzer vervolgens op Bladwijzer 1.

Herhaal dezelfde werkwijze voor alle bladwijzers dus iedere keer een onderbreking toevoegen en die koppelen aan de juiste bladwijzer.

Het deelvenster ziet er nu zo uit:

Start je presentatie, klik op de video, hij speelt af tot aan de eerste bladwijzer, klik opnieuw en hij speelt af tot de volgende bladwijzer. Klik opnieuw en de video speelt af tot het einde. Klik altijd op de video niet ernaast.

Wat als je de video automatisch wil opstarten bij het starten van de presentatie/dia?

Plaats de video op je dia (Invoegen - Video - Video op mijn PC - Invoegen). Verwijder de optie om de video te laten afspelen door die te selecteren en Delete te drukken.

Klik onder Hulpmiddelen voor Video op het tabblad Afspelen, klik naast Starten/Begin en kies Automatisch.

Selecteer het tabblad Animatie en activeer het Animatie deelvenster. De video start automatisch (zie het cijfer 0 naast het item) en er is een trigger toegevoegd die je in staat stelt de video te stoppen.

Voeg nu de twee bladwijzers toe zoals hierboven aangegeven.

Het animatiedeelvenster ziet er nu zo uit:

Start je presentatie, de video speelt automatisch af, hij speelt tot aan de eerste bladwijzer en stopt, klik opnieuw op de video en hij speelt af tot de volgende bladwijzer. Bij een laatste klik tot aan het einde. Denk eraan altijd op de video te klikken en niet ernaast.

Automatically pause a video at a specific spot and resume with a click - PPT 2013-2019

Can you automatically pause a video at a specific spot and then move on without restarting the video from the begining.

To do that you need to apply Bookmarks and attach a trigger to them.

Insert your video on the slide (Insert - Video - Video on my PC - Select the video - Insert).

Activate the Animation tab and click Animation Pane. PPT automatically adds a trigger allowing you to start and stop the video by clicking on it. Remove the play option by selecting it and pressing Delete.

Your animation pane should look like this:

Now add the bookmarks and triggers which will allow you to stop the video without having to click.

Click in the player control bar on the desired spot.
Under Video Tools click the Play tab, click the Add bookmark button. Repeat for the other bookmarks.

Go to the Animation tab and in the Advanced animation group click the Add Animation button, choose Pause. The video will run, select the animation by clicking on it. Click on the Trigger button and choose On bookmark and then Bookmark 1.

repeat for bookmark 2. So, add the pause and then add the trigger.

The animation pane now looks like:

Start the presentation, click on the video, it will play till it reaches the first bookmark and then stop, click again and it will play till the second bookmark and stop. Always click on the video not next to it.

What if you want the video to start automatically and stop when you reach a specific point?

Insert your video on the slide (Insert - Video - Video on my PC - Select the video - Insert).

Under Video tools, click the Play tab, click on the list arrow next to start and choose Automatically.

Select the Animation tab, click on Animation pane button. The video starts automatically (see the 0 next to the first animation item). There is a trigger that allows you to stop the video.

Now add the two bookmarks as described above.

The animation pane finally looks like:

Start your presentation, when you reach the slide with the video it plays automatically till it reaches the first bookmark and stops, click again and it continues to reach the second stop. Click again and it plays till the end. Always click on the video not next to it.
