Insert slide on the Insert tab of the ribbon? - Invoegen nieuwe dia op het tabblad invoegen?

It is not quite clear why Microsoft decided to put the insert slide button on the Home tab of the ribbon. It should have been on the Insert tab instead.
Luckily for us Steve Rindsberg - MVP, made this little add-in which does nothing but add the New slide button to the Insert tab. Click on the link beneath to download it:

Now do the following:

• Click the Office button
• Click PowerPoint Options
• Click Add-Ins
• Next to Manage, choose PowerPoint Add-ins then click Go.
• Click Add then browse to the 'DoNothing.ppam' file you just downloaded and choose it.
• Click OK.

Invoegen nieuwe dia op het tabblad invoegen?

Het is niet zo duidelijk waarom Microsoft heeft besloten de knop Nieuwe dia toe te voegen aan het tabblad Start. Terwijl het duidelijk op het tabblad Invoegen zou moeten staan.
Gelukkig heeft Steve Rindsberg - MVP voor ons een kleine add-in in elkaar gestoken die het probleem voor ons oplost.

Vooraleer je het bestand download zet je de volgende stappen.

• Klik op de Office-knop
• Klik op de knop Opties voor PowerPoint
• Kies links voor Invoegtoepassingen
• Kies onderaan bij Beheren het lijstpijltje en kies Invoegtoepassingen. Klik vervolgens op knop Start.
• Kies knop Nieuwe toevoegen.
• Navigeer naar het gedownloade bestand, selecteer en klik OK.

En zo ziet het eruit op het lint Invoegen:

Add a slide before the first one

Seems a simple enough task. 

But if you try to do it the added slide always gets in second position. No matter what you try, using the Insert slide button, right-click... nothing works.

Rest assured you can add a slide before the first one. In the outline view on the slides tab just click above the first thumbnail slide, you will see a horizontal line appear. Then insert your new slide.


Easy enough.

Een dia toevoegen vóór de eerste dia

Makkelijk opdracht zou je denken, helaas lukt dat niet echt. 

De toegevoegde dia komt altijd in de tweede positie terecht. Hoe je ook probeert hetzij via de knop Dia invoegen hetzij via de rechter muisknop, niets lijkt te werken.

Gelukkig kan het toch, klik in het overzichtsvenster op het tabblad Dia's juist juist boven de miniatuur van de eerste dia. Een horizontale lijn verschijnt, voeg nu je nieuwe dia in.

Resultaat:
