Tijd om te editeren, afbeeldingen verdwenen uit Blog

In de volgende week zal ik helaas niet veel nieuwe bijdragen kunnen posten. Blijkt dat toegevoegde afbeeldingen in alle oude berichten omgezet zijn in een rode-x. Verwonderlijk is dat niet aangezien alle afbeeldingen verwijzen naar mijn oude Multiply blog. Ondertussen is die definitief verdwenen en alle gelinkte afbeeldingen duiken natuurlijk niet meer op.

Er zit niets anders op dan de afbeeldingen terug in te voegen. Een pijnlijk en langdurig proces. Ondertussen zijn de oudste berichten al terug omgezet.

Dus vraag ik jullie wat geduld te oefenen...

Eindelijk terug

Eindelijk de tijd gevonden om mijn oude blog op Multiply om te zetten naar Blogger.

Mijn laatste bericht dateert dus al van enkele maanden geleden.

Vanaf nu zal ik terug op regelmatige basis publiceren. PPT 2003 en 2007 worden niet meer behandeld. Voorlopig worden alle bijdragen nog altijd in zowel Nederlands als Engels gepubliceerd.

Ik zal mij dus concentreren op PPT 2010 en vanaf begin volgend jaar op PPT 2013.

Laat vooral niet na je opmerkingen en suggesties hier te posten.

I'm back

Back in business

Finally found the time to import my old blog on Multiply in Blogger.

So it has been a few months since my last entry.

From now on I will continue to publish on a regular basis. I will no longer blog on PPT 2003 or PPT 2007. For the time being still in English and Dutch.

I will concentrate on PPT 2010 and of course will blog beginning next year on the new PPT 2013.

Just for your information: Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 is scheduled to be released on April 28th.
Ter informatie: Service Pack 2 voor Office 2007 komt uit op 28 april. Naar alle waarschijnlijkheid zullen een aantal van de hotfixes in de update verwerkt zitten.

Tekst blijft niet verticaal gecentreerd bij het editeren van een tekstvak waarvan 'Formaat van vorm aanpassen aan tekst' actief is. De tekst wordt gewoon bovenaan in het vak geplaatst.

Bij het verlengen van een lijn schiet die voorbij de grenzen van de dia tot in de oneindigheid.

Zoom probleem, bij het editeren van vormen of verwijderen van afbeeldingen keert PPT automatisch terug naar het midden van de dia.

It's official Microsoft stops (non-paid) support for Office 2003 on April 15th.
That means only security updates will still be developed. Nothing will be added or improved on the product.

Het is officieel, Microsoft stopt ondersteuning voor Office 2003 vanaf de 15de april.

Alleen veiligheids updates worden verder ontwikkeld. Het product wordt niet meer uitgebreid of verbeterd. Als je nog niet alle service packs hebt geïnstalleerd dan is nu het goede moment aangebroken om te downloaden en installeren.

Daarbovenop legt zij in het notitievenster uit hoe zij tewerk is gegaan om deze te maken. Voor iedere gebruiker die wat meer wil weten over oordeelkundig gebruik van deze effecten en animaties is dit een unieke kans.

Voorlopig zijn deze enkel beschikbaar in het Engels. Wanneer er eventueel een Nederlandstalig vertaling komt is niet geweten. Maar ik hou jullie zeker op de hoogte.

PowerPoint for peace - PowerPoint voor vrede

Two colleagues of mine Glenna Shaw and Geetesh Bajaj have started a wonderful initiative. They are trying to build a huge PowerPoint file promoting peace. Here's how they phrased it:
"The general idea is for anyone (individuals, groups, corporations, etc.) to create a single slide that showcases your “human footprint” (the good things you’ve done).  It has to be a PowerPoint slide (a PPT), but it can be created with a variety of programs and then saved as a PPT file.  These slides can then be contributed at: http://www.ppt4peace.com/ to create the world's largest presentation".
