If a previous blog I gave some good reasons to use the preview pane in Windows Explorer. There is another reason you should use it.
You can copy content of a PowerPoint presentation or any other Office-document while in the preview pane.
Just right-click on the content or select and right-click the content and choose copy.
Starting with Windows Vista you can preview a presentation directly in Windows Explorer. This is also true for any other Office file, or even a sound file or video.
In Windows Vista: click on the Organizer menu, choose Layout, Preview pane. In Windows 7 there is an icon on the right hand side of the screen to activate the preview pane.
On your right you will see the preview pane. Select the PowerPoint file you want to preview and the first slide appears:
Click on it to view the other slides.
See the next slide appear.
Even animations and transition effects will be shown!
Very nice feature to find your presentations and have a quick look as to what they contain.
