Link to a specific slide in another presentation (part two)

Another way to link to a specific slide in another presentation is to use an action button.

Go to Insert - Shape - right at the bottom select the custom action shape. You can of course choose another action button if you like.

Drag with the mouse to insert the action button on your slide, upon releasing the mouse a dialog will appear, next to Hyperlink to choose Other PowerPoint presentation.

Browse for your presentation and select it. You will immediately get a dialog asking you to choose the slide title you want to link to, select and click OK:

Click OK and you are set to go. As I already explained in a previous entry a warning message will appear, if you want to get rid of it just read the entry.
