What's new in PowerPoint 2013-1 - Start screen

This is the first post in a series on the new PPT 2013

Starting PPT 2013 immediately confronts you with some changes. On start up you will not get the blank presentation you were used to.

Instead you get a start screen that looks like this:

You can either start :

1. using a built-in theme
2. using a recently used presentation
3. using another presentation by opening it
4. using the old and familiar blank presentation
5. using a custom template
