Add an emoji quickly to a text box or placeholder in PPT 2019

With the cursor in a textbox or placeholder press the Windows key and the . key.

 + .

Then click on the emoji.

You can choose other categories at the bottom of the window. Or search for an emoji by typing a search term. In the example below I typed anger as keyword.

Muziek afspelen over meerdere dia's in PPT 2016-2019

Plaats je op de eerste dia uit je presentatie.
Klik op het tabblad Invoegen uit het lint.
Klik op de knop Audio en kies voor Audio op mijn pc. 

Selecteer het bestand en dubbelklik erop. Je krijgt het volgende op je scherm:

Het tabblad Afspelen onder Hulpmiddelen voor Audio is geselecteerd, klik in de groep Geluidsstijlen op de knop Afspelen op achtergrond. 

Vanaf versie 2016 wordt het audiobestand afgespeeld in de klikvolgorde. Na het klikken op de knop Afspelen op de achtergrond wordt het geluidsbestand automatisch als eerste item in de animatielijst van de dia geplaatst.

Als je dubbelklikt op het audiobestand in het animatiedeelvenster kan je zien dat de audio na 999 dia's stopt met afspelen.

Wil je het luidsprekertje tijdens de presentatie niet zien, vink dan in de groep Audio opties uit het contextueel tabblad Afspelen het aankruisvakje Verbergen tijdens voorstelling aan. Of sleep het pictogram met de luidspreker in de zone naast de dia.

In dezelfde groep kan je alle opties zien die je audio automatisch en over meerdere dia's laten afspelen.

Als alternatief zou je hier dus ook alles kunnen instellen zonder daarvoor het animatiedeelvenster nodig te hebben.

Play audio across slides in PPT 2016-2019

For PPT 2016-2019

Go to the first slide of your presentation.

Click the Insert tab.
Select the Audio button and choose Audio on my pc. 

Select the audio file by double clicking on it. The loudspeaker icon appears on your slide.

Under Audio tools the Playback tab is active. Click on the Play in background button in the Audio styles group.

Starting with version PPT 2016 the audio file is part of the click sequence. After clicking on the Play in background button the audio file will move to the top of the click sequence.

If you double click the audio file in the animation pane you will see that the audio will stop after 999 slides.

If you do not want to see the loudspeaker during the slide show, check the box Hide during show in the Audio options group of the Playback tab. Or you can drag the loudspeaker icon in the surrounding slide area.

In the same group you can see all the options you need to play the audio across several slides.

As an alternative you could set the whole thing here without ever needing the animation pane.

Animate each item in a list in bold - PPT 2019

In a bulleted list you can opt to show all the bullet points at once and emphasize them afterwards in bold one by one. Or you can opt to show each bullet point one after the other separately and bold them. Here's an example of a list that will be used in a presentation.

The first option is the simplest, select the placeholder (click on the border) and click the Add
animation button on the Animation tab, choose the emphasis animation Bold reveal.

If you do not intervene each bullet point will be emphasized in bold when you press enter till all the bullets have been discussed. The bullets will stay in bold and will be animated by letter.

If you want to remove the bold after an item has been discussed do the following. With all the bullet points still selected, right click an item and choose Effect options. On the Effect tab select All at once. On the timing tab next to Duration select Until next click.

This will give you this result:

Show the bullet points one by one and emphasize in bold afterwards. 

This has the advantage that the viewer cannot anticipate on the content and lose focus.

Select the placeholder (click on the border) and click the Add animation button on the Animation tab, choose the Fade animation.

Leave the selection and immediately apply the emphasis effect Bold reveal. Click next to start and choose With previous.

Drag the emphasize effects under the entrance animations:

Now apply the effect options All at once and Until next click as explained above.

Ieder item van een opsomming animeren in het vet - PPT 2019

Bij een opsomming kan je ervoor opteren om alle opsompunten in één keer te tonen en achteraf ieder punt afzonderlijk in het vet te animeren. Of je kan alle opsompunten een voor een met een klik laten verschijnen en tegelijkertijd in het vet animeren. Neem onderstaande dia als voorbeeld.

Dit is het eenvoudigst, selecteer de volledige tijdelijke aanduiding (klik op de rand) en pas via het tabblad Animatie en de knop Animatie toevoegen de nadrukanimatie Vet onthullen toe.

Als je verder niet ingrijpt wordt ieder punt vet getoond bij een enter en dat blijft zo tot alle punten afgewerkt zijn. De opsompunten worden standaard per letter geanimeerd. Je kan het resultaat hier bekijken in de volgende video:

Wil je na het bespreken van ieder opsompunt dat het vet verdwijnt dan moet je ingrijpen. Met alle items voor vet onthullen geselecteerd, klik rechts op een item en kies Effectopties. Op het tabblad Effect kies je voor Alles tegelijk. Op het tabblad Tijdsinstelling kies je in de lijst bij Duur voor Tot volgende klik.

Bij het tweede heb je wat meer werk maar het voordeel dat alle punten pas verschijnen als jij er klaar voor bent. De toeschouwer kan dus niet anticiperen op de inhoud en de focus verliezen.

Selecteer de tijdelijke aanduiding (klik op de rand) en pas via het tabblad Animatie en de knop Animatie toevoegen de beginanimatie Vervagen toe. Laat de lijst geselecteerd en pas onmiddellijk het nadrukeffect Vet onthullen toe. Klik bovenaan naast Begin en kies Met vorige.

Sleep nu alle items op hun correcte plaats.

Kies net als hierboven in de Effectopties voor Alles tegelijk en Tot volgende klik. Een en ander kan je hieronder in deze video bekijken:

Blog articles in a Word document, year 2019

It is always handy to have a printable copy of interesting articles. I have made a Word document containing all my blog articles over the past year.
Some general articles or general announcements have been let out. Articles referring to previous blog years have also been let out.

Every article has its own page, and there is a table of contents to get quickly at it. You will see the versions of PPT that can be used to perform a task. Of course some articles only apply to a particular version of PowerPoint.

Be aware that videos are placed as a picture in the text, you will have to access the blog to view them.

Blogartikelen in een Word document, jaar 2019

Het is altijd handig om een geprinte versie van artikels bij de hand te hebben.

Algemene artikelen of aankondigingen zijn niet opgenomen in het document. Dat is ook geldig voor de artikelen met verwijzing naar Word documenten van vorige blog jaren.

Ieder artikel krijgt zijn eigen pagina. Een inhoudstafel is beschikbaar en je kan zien welke versies van PPT geschikt zijn om een taak uit te voeren. Sommige artikelen zijn natuurlijk enkel bestemd voor een specifieke PPT versie.

Bij ingevoegde video's moet je er rekening mee houden dat er enkel een afbeelding van de video is opgenomen in de tekst. Wil je de video echt bekijken dan ga je het relevante artikel moeten bekijken in de blog.
