How to make an invisible link to other slides in PowerPoint - PPT 2019-2024

To create an invisible link to another slide in PowerPoint you have to use a drawn shape. It's best to place it somewhere so it won't interfere with other objects, for instance in one of the corners of the slide.

Go to the Insert tab and click on Shapes, choose a rectangle or any other shape.

Draw the shape over the area you want to place the invisible shape.

Right-click the shape and choose Format Shape. In the taskpane apply No Fill under Fill and No line under Line.

Select the invisible shape now right-click on the edge of the shape and choose Link. Or go to the Insert tab and click on the Links button and then on Insert Link.

In the dialogue click on Place in this document and under Slide titles select the slide you want to jump to.

During your presentation click on the invisible shape to go to the other slide.
