Tijdens presentatie naar Excel hyperlinken en terugkeren naar volgende dia - PPT 2013

Veronderstel dat je tijdens een presentatie gegevens uit Excel zou willen tonen en eens die bekeken zijn dat je dan vanuit Excel naar de volgende dia in je presentatie wil terugkeren.

In PPT voeg je de link toe naar het Excel bestand, Invoegen - Hyperlink - klik op de knop Zoeken naar een bestand en navigeer naar je Excel bestand - selecteer en klik op OK.

Bewaar je presentatie.

Open het Excel bestand - voeg de hyperlink toe naar de PPT-presentatie. Ook hier is dat via het lint Invoegen - knop Hyperlink - knop Zoeken naar een bestand...

Na selectie klik je onderaan bij adres helemaal achteraan het pad en voeg je het volgende toe #dianr. Waar dianr. staat voor de dia volgend op de dia met de hyperlink, klik OK.

Klik gedurende de presentatie op de hyperlink in Excel en je keert terug naar de volgende dia uit je presentatie.

Suppose you want to show an Excel file during your presentation and then return from Excel to your presentation to the slide following the current one.

Add the link In PPT to your Excel file, Insert - Hyperlink - click the Search button and navigate to your Excel file, select it and click OK.

Save your presentation.

Open the Excel file - add a hyperlink to your presentation. Insert - Hyperlink - Search button...
Select your PPT file, then at the bottom, after the address type #slide number. Where slide number is the following slide in your presentation.

Now during your presentation click on the hyperlink that brings you to Excel, in Excel click the hyperlink that brings you back to the next slide of your presentation.

Break links from Excel in PPT 2013

Excel data are often linked for internal use. That way you can always have the latest data available. But if you have to send the presentation to an external user it is necessary to break the links.

If you want to see how many links are included in your presentation go to File - Info - on the right hand side you will see all the properties of the presentation, at the bottom there is a link 'Edit links to files'. That link allows you to edit all of the linked files.

In the dialog box that follows you can see a list of all the linked files in the presentation. If you select a link the original path and type of object will be shown at the bottom of the dialog. In our case this was a chart from Excel.

  

Links from Excel can point to a complete workbook, graph or range of cells. Other links can be present in the example above there is a link to a Word document.

To break the link to any item just click on the Break Link button. The link to the chart will remain in the list but will get the NULL property. This is a term in computer language that refers to a missing or unknown value in the file.

Now, if you right click the chart in the presentation the Edit data item will be greyed. You can still format the chart in PowerPoint but the data are no longer available.

If you break the link to a workbook or range of cells the object will turn into a picture which can't be edited anymore. When you select the object you will see the contextual tab Picture tools appear.

Be sure to save your presentation under a different name if you still want to update to the latest data.

If you want a blank spreadsheet that you can use to type in, and use formulas, and such during the presentation here's how to proceed:

• View - Toolbars - Control toolbox
• More controls (last button on the toolbar)
• Choose Microsoft Office Spreadsheet
• Draw the sheet on your slide
• Click on the properties button to set it up as you want (first button on the toolbar).

That's it, during the show just click on the sheet and you will be able to use it.

Een Excel werkblad gebruiken tijdens een presentatie (2003)

Als je tijdens een presentatie wil gebruik maken van een spreadsheet waar je live kan in typen en bv. formules kunt gebruiken, kan je als volgt tewerk gaan:

• Beeld - Werkbalken - Werkset besturingselementen
• Knop Meer besturingselementen (laatste knop van de werkbalk)
• Selecteer Microsoft Office spreadsheet 10.0 of 11.0 of 12.0
• Sleep op je dia een werkblad van de gewenste grootte
• Klik eventueel op de knop Eigenschappen (eerste op de werkbalk) om eventueel een aantal zaken naar wens in te stellen

Tijdens de voorstelling volstaat het van op het werkblad te klikken en je kan het voluit gebruiken.
