Gebruik notitiepagina's als handouts in PPT 2007-2010

Een tijdje geleden vroeg iemand me of PowerPoint in staat was handouts te produceren die aan volgende voorwaarden voldoen. 1 dia per pagina en met een gelijnde zone onder de dia zodat nota's kunnen genomen worden.

PowerPoint kan handouts leveren onder de vorm van 1 dia per pagina, helaas krijg je geen zone om nota's te nemen. Het handout model kan daartoe niet geëditeerd worden. Gelukkig kan je dat omzeilen door in plaats daarvan notitiepagina's te gebruiken.

Dit is wat je moet doen:

1. Activeer het notitiemodel, tabblad Beeld, groep Modelweergaven, knop Notitiemodel.
2. Eerst sleep je de tijdelijke aanduiding voor de notities in de zone naast het model. Op deze manier verlies je je gewone sprekernotities niet die bij de dia's horen.
3. Pas de andere tijdelijke aanduidingen aan of verwijder ze indien nodig. Wil je nog meer plaats voor de nota's dan kan je gerust de tijdelijke aanduiding voor de dia naar boven verplaatsen. 
4. Activeer het raster, rechts klikken op het notitiemodel, kies voor Raster en hulplijnen.
5. Bij de rasterinstellingen kies je voor 1 cm, zet een kruisje bij Raster weergeven op het scherm.
6. Tabblad Invoegen, groep Illustraties, knop Vormen, rechts klikken op het lijn gereedschap en kiezen voor Tekenmodus vergrendelen.
7. Teken de gewenste lijnen en gebruik daarbij het raster. Selecteer alle lijnen en groepeer ze.
8. Sluit de notitieweergave.
9. Print de notitiespagina's, in 2007 klik je op Office-knop - Kies Afdrukken - onder Afdrukken kies je notitiepagina's. In PPT 2010 menu Bestand - Afdrukken - Kies onder Dia's voor Notitiepagina's.

Wil je alsnog je sprekernotities printen? Sleep de gegroepeerde lijnen naast het notitiemodel en sleep de tijdelijke aanduiding voor de notities terug op zijn plaats.

A while ago someone asked me if PPT could produce handouts, one slide a page, with lines underneath the slide to allow the user to write down notes during the slideshow.
PowerPoint can produce handouts with one slide a page but does not allow to take notes at the same time. You cannot edit the handouts master.
Fortunately you can get around it by using the notes pages instead.
Here's what you need to do:

1. Activate the notes master, View tab, Presentations views group, Notes master button.
2. First drag the notes placeholder off the master slide, this way you will not loose your speaker notes.
3. Adjust the slide thumbnail placeholder if need be. Remove the other placeholders if you do not need them. Move the placeholder to the top.
4. Now activate the grid, right click on the master slide and choose Grid and guides.
5. Set the grid to 1 cm and check Show grid box.
6. Insert tab, Illustrations group, click the Shapes button, right click the line tool and choose to block it.
7. Draw the lines one by one using the grid. Then select all the lines and group them together.
8. Close notes view.
9. Go to the print menu and print your notes pages.

If you need to print your speaker notes, just drag the grouped lines off the master and drag the notes placeholder back into place.
