Remove picture from slide master on slide layout (2)

As I explained in my previous blog you cannot hide a picture background applied to the slide master on a slide layout using the Hide background graphics in the background group on the Slide master ribbon.

If you want another picture on a slide layout you will have to select the slide layout and apply a different picture background using the Format background dialog.

To apply another picture, go to the slide master - select your slide layout - right click the thumbnail and choose Format background - Picture or texture fill - File - browse and select your image - click Insert.

After inserting your picture be sure to click Close and not Apply to all.
